Welcome to the Elinor Fishing Report

Elinor is now permitting two anglers per boat.
To allow thorough disinfecting, boats must be back in by 9.45pm.

175 anglers caught 289 fish of which 196 were returned

        Best Fish
10lb 14oz Mike Bownes, Wilsthorpe, dial bach
9lb 12oz Luke Mason, Glinton, cat booby, boat
6lb 5oz Mick Moseley, Rushden, brown buzzer, boat
5lb 2oz Lazloe Boden, Rothwell, olive nymph, boat

        Best Areas
Bank – east arm, boat bay, dam (in a north wind)
Boat – fish well spread down the middle

        Best Patterns
olive or black hopper, olive cdc, damsel, olive buzzer, grhe, red drawl/cruncher, red apps, tequila/candy blob.

Very difficult fishing last week. There are plenty of fish to cast at feeding on damsel nymphs and adult damsels over open water and some perch/roach fry feeders around the margins. We are still getting some decent hatches of small olive and black buzzers.
Alan Rennocks boat fished yesterday and proved that it can be done. He caught 12 fish all on straightlined s14 skinny olive buzzers.
Despite only a few fish being taken out over the last two weeks a further stocking is going in on Thursday.
