Very difficult fishing last week. There are plenty of fish to cast at feeding on damsel nymphs and adult damsels over open water and some perch/roach fry feeders around the margins. We are still getting some decent hatches of small olive and black buzzers.
Alan Rennocks boat fished yesterday and proved that it can be done. He caught 12 fish all on straightlined s14 skinny olive buzzers.
Despite only a few fish being taken out over the last two weeks a further stocking is going in on Thursday.
