Bank outscored the boats again last week with fish being caught in many areas of the lake.
Spooned fish have been feeding on immature damsel, hog louse and small black buzzers.
With all all the heavy rain on Friday night the brook did overflow so the water is coloured so I expect the fishing to be more difficult over the next few days.
However the ten anglers that fished today, Monday 12th did manage to catch 43 fish despite the conditions.
