A more difficult week with the mini heat wave from Monday to Saturday although fishing is back on great form since bank holiday Monday with huge numbers of fish feeding on the surface taking damsels, buzzers and sedges in the evening.
Boat anglers who used a long leader and buzzers fished slow or static over the deep water continued to catch. On a hot Friday Barrie Cowland managed 8 and Chris Holland 10 while many struggled and Matt Tuck caught 30 on deep buzzers anchored off pylon point on Saturday.
