        Best Patterns
apps bloodworm, small black buzzer, damsel, red diawl bach, pitsford pea, white minkie, cats whisker, black snake.

Not quite as many anglers ventured out last week as the temperature dropped but the lodge end of the lake continued to fish well with fish feeding on small buzzers. Size 14 or 16 skinny black buzzers worked well in combination with a lightweight red apps on the point.
Decent numbers of fry feeders along the dam. White minkie or minkie booby scored.
Some fish are also now being caught further afield from the dam with the gravel bar and shallow bay showing signs of switching on.
The first pike fishing weekend produced jacks and four doubles the best of which weighed 17lb 8oz caught by Dan Brackley on a lure.

Now the clocks have gone back half day tickets are valid 7am – 2pm or Midday until dark.
