        Best Areas
Bank – brookside, dam, pensioner’s point
Boat – lodge end, brookside. boat bay

        Best Patterns
small black/green or white/green lures, candy or tequila FAB, red apps, red diawl/cruncher, black or olive hopper, wet daddy.

I can’t remember a better couple of weeks for quality big fish. Certainly many have been attracted to the abundance of roach and perch fry at the lodge end of Elinor. Most days there are a few lumps being caught.
However with the ultra clear water the fish are trickier when the sun is out.
Generally in cloudy conditions the bank anglers are doing best but on brighter days the boats have the edge.
Lures on a slow intermediate working or a floater with fab/foam daddy and diawl cruncher on dropper.

Bank fishing on Sunday November 1st will be limited for pleasure anglers as much of the lake will be pegged for a Team England bank semi final. Wind permitting, boats available as normal.

Now the clocks have changed Half day tickets are available 7am until 2pm or Midday until dark.
