Welcome to the Elinor Fishing Report
September 30th – October 6th
126 anglers caught 311 fish of which 244 were returned.

6lb 12oz Dave Miles, Wellingborough, red cruncher, boat
5lb 9oz Chris Redhead, Whittlesey, white/green lure, boat
5lb 6oz Darren Oram, Aldwincle, white snake, boat
5lb 6oz Jim Davis, Luton, foam daddy
Best Areas
Bank – east arm, brookside, boat bay, dam (in a north wind)
Boat – most areas producing fish
Best Patterns
wet or dry daddy, black hopper, red cruncher, small black shipmans, hares ear, black/green lure, candy booby, white/black snake.
Another wet week with many anglers only fishing a few hours. Luckily there has been no further flooding and the water although at a high level is clearing quickly.
A rod average of 2.4 is not as good as I expect in October but it’s pleasing that fish are being caught from most areas of the lake.
Despite the rain there are only a few daddies on the water but anglers continue to catch on wet and dry imitations.
