TF_steveslotBefore I buy…What is the best main line for feeder fishing. I was going to buy Technium invisitec 8lb which is .26 however I see they have another line now called technium match which is .22 and probably pre stretched. I was going to get the older line as it comes on 1700 mtr spool which will last a couple of years.
Or can someone tell me there is something better…~think -

TF_steveslotIve got to say its mainly commercial carp venues through summer with a scattering of bream fishing. I was using the Daiwa sensor last season but where I leave the rod made up I did start to notice the line starting to get frayed here and there. Maily in the top 6 feet by feeder. I suppose its from fish going over obstructions or me trying to move an island.
Overall I think the sensor has been OK. Just wondering, before reload whats better on the market, if anything. -

TF_NathanWatsonTechnium is better than Sensor but you still need to be removing the last few feet after every match!

TF_wronglakeThe new line from cralusso is very good it is called feeder energy and as 150m on the spool 0.25mm is 11.89lb or 5.39kg and it is a very good line.~clap

TF_AnthonywatersParticipantJust bought 500m of 6lb pro gold I first used it 5 years ago and its as strong as tow rope and hard wearing it seems to have lost its popularity everyone used to use the stuff.

TF_steveslotDecided on the Ultima. The Technium is probably the best but read an article/review on it and the guy said allthough it is really good cannot justify paying the price. Not being tight but it is not three times better

TF_squattTechnium isn’t expensive at £26 for nearly 2 km of line.

TF_NathanWatsonI bought a spool of 4lb Pro Gold for the waggler and it broke 1st time I hooked a big carp on it, put me right off! Never had that problem with Maxima 3lb but had same problem with 4lb Berkley Sensation.
As said, Technium is cheap! Only really Sensor that’s cheaper.
