        Are there any places of note around there? Also looking to fish saturday opens. Any info welcome.

          only regular saturday opens I can think of are at Aldercar lane fishery at Langley mill.
          day ticket waters nearby would be Butterley res at Ripley, Codnor res and Allestree lake.
          nearest river day tickets would be the park at darley abbey (derby) or matlock bath.

              i fish the sunday opens at aldercar lane average 20 lb winning at mo no opens on a saturday

                saturday league started march 5th told today that they are also open to non league registered anglers.

                  Yes mate. Fishing against them in the VDE. Had a good chat to a few of them.
