        Hi all new to the forum here and looking for some tips and advice.
        basicly my old man and my self are planning a fishing trip for sat 22nd of sept to celibrate the forth comeing birth of my first child. anyway i was wondering if anyone knew any good spots on the blackwater to go fishing from?

              Sorry being daft I meant the middle of the river. You will need a boat and be east of Osea Island.

                  sarry truth is dont have a clue years since I fished there from the shore. Used to get stingers from the beach seaward from the power station.

                    The Blackwater, like all local rivers at the moment, isn’t fishing too well. There are the odd decent fish coming out now and then, but it’s very patchy, unlike the weed which is anything but!
