        im looking for a handmade float similar to a preston chianti, want something a little stronger in the same sort of sizes. any ideas

        TF_One Out of the Frame

          I don’t think that I’ve ever broken a Gerry’s of Nottingham TBF (Tunnel Barn Farm) Cult float.

          They were/are available in 3 x 8; 4 x 10 and 4 x 12 with a separate 4 x 12 ‘Far Bank’ version.

          They are consistent size wise and the only other float that I would use if needing some more finesse is the original Drennan Squatt (which isn’t very robust although I did manage to ‘skewer’ a finger (I know, I know!) pulling for a break with a number 4 elastic. Straight through my index finger just below the nail!

              These are now made with a hard foam body with the same shotting as balsa and may be what you are looking for?

                  malman benny’s are alot stronger an have a wire stem for extra stability
