~think ~think ~think Is it just me or have Talk Sport made a massive error in employing these two jumped up,arrogant mugs.I have tried to listen to their spot on the programe,but i find it total garbage.
I would love to know if them joining the show was the reason that Mike Parry left overnight,and if he did why the f*** wasnt it reported.Love him or hate him the ginger minger put on a great show with Mike Graham,and although it was one big wind up i found it a great start to the day.If they have made a big mistake in taking the two plums on the show,i wonder what kind of contract they have signed.Because if they want to unload them it will no doubt cost a fortune.
I wish Our Keith(F.blues) still looked in on our site,as i am sure he could and would have given us some insight on this whole sorry mess.~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh

It’s a shocking decision!!!! they just dont have the charisma for a TalkSport show at all. Parry’s show was a fantastic listen, and 606 will be better for his presence.

regardless of the message this sends out re-overt sexism and dinosaur attitudes that by it’s employ- it is hardly suprising given that the initial chairman at its inception was one Kelvin Mackenzie of Murdoch stable and a continuning spokesman for him. Notwithstanding it’s other employ of mainly right wing ranters and apologists(not KA i hasten to add), given the amount of adverts, jingles and programme plugs,weather,cricket commentary interupptions- etc. that any air time will be in all probabillity of such limitation that a few grunts and half-sentances will be all that the infamous duo will be able to illicit before said ad. breaks.

I hear they have dug up some more dirt on Keys from 2009, when he apparently referred to an ex Forest player, who was rumoured to be looking to play for Scotland, as Chocko Jocko.

As im a white vanman i listen off n on from 6am-2.00pm to talksport,the keys n gray show does not work,its just flat,Porky Parry though mad as a hatter was a good listen the majority of the time,he came out with some crazy ideas,1)having wing mirrors on horses so the jockeys didnt have to look round pmsl…2)having football shirts with velcro sleeves,so they came off if they were tugged lol.Apparently there is a petition online somewhere to bring parry back,but it aint gonna happen,i think eventually Brazils superb brekkie slot could be there home?,just my opinion of course.

I have only listened to parts of the new show but it appears to be soccer/soccer/soccer with just a bit of soccer put in for losing my interest! No humour and I wonder what they will talk about during the summer? Last seasons soccer, soccer transfers, and next seasons soccer? Now I am a West Ham so as you will appreciate, don’t appreciate soccer too much but I do like hearing a bit about it from other teams – not 3 hours solid though!

Big mistake by my favourite station so I shall not listen 10 am to 1 pm (BBC Radio 7 can be fun) and will also return to 606 on Saturdays which I haven’t listened to since Gummer! If you think about it, without the clips of the games and his computer Grey didn’t add a lot to the TV show. Now he doesn’t add much to the radio although he appears to have a good phone book with a lot of famous people’s mobile numbers in it.

Mike Porky Pig Parry will probably earn as much for one 606 as he did all week on Talksport so good luck to him.

Have Talk Sport on from 8am till 5pm,(6.30am start on a Saturday for Keith Arthur) their show is by far the worst, a total desaster, but could get better with time. But neither sound like they really want to be there. Bring back Porkie, yes, as someone else said, as mad as a hatter but great fun.

BROADCASTER Mike Parry has revealed he quit his job with TalkSport just days before two disgraced Sky Sports presenters were given his daily radio slot.

Andy Gray and Richard Keys have been signed to present the flagship daytime show on the radio station.

From next Monday they will fill the 10am to 1pm slot occupied until last week by Mr Parry, who lives in Gosport.

But the former News columnist, a life-long Everton fan, said he could not think of anyone better than ‘my old mate and Everton centre forward’ Gray to fill his shoes.

Mr Parry said: ‘Andy gets my blessing. He’s one of my footballing heroes and I’m delighted he’s going to be doing the job that I can no longer do.’

Mr Parry said he quit the station last Thursday. ‘It was over a contractual dispute which has been dragging on since last summer after the World Cup,’ he said.

‘I’ve had lots of job offers which I’m considering. I’d be mad to quit a job like that and not have something else in the pipeline wouldn’t I?’ he added.

TalkSport moved for Gray and Keys two weeks after they were engulfed in a sexism storm which began after they made disparaging off-air comments about a female referee’s assistant

Jeff…..Thanks for that post.If true it might mean that our Mike(Porky)did have other issues with Talk Sport,and left for those reasons.However…I have this nagging doubt that the “Ginger Minger” made them an offer they couldnt refuse….ie….Choose?…..Them or me…Or i will leave.

Listened to more or less all of their programme today. The first 2 hours dire and dour! ~hand ~hand ~naughty

Then Bobby Gould turned up and saved the show! ~clap ~clap He had humour, intelligence and was full of life. What a difference he made and if I was Talksport I know what I would do!

Bad mistake lettin Parry go, he was a proper good listen, he used to have me in stitches. I listened to Gray and Keys for the first time on thurs and ended up switchin stations until 1 o’clock when they finished, I’ve never heard anyone so full of their own importance, worst show I’ve ever heard on TS. Bring back Parry and Graham. TS also made a big mistake when they let John Gaunt go, another quality act. I wonder how Stan Collymore feels about sharing a station with Keys.
