meatbasheri would use maybe sensas skimmers, but more likely just crumb as a plug and chopped redworms or dendras if you cannot source redworms.

TF_mp.miloAre you on the dam wall, if you are find where the concrete lip is (youll feel the bomb bounce on the concrete) and clip up just past the lip not right on it as there can be a lot of snags there, feed chop and caster through the feeder with an odd bit of corn.Loads of skimmers and odd better fish.
If you want to go for a long chuck same as in feeder, less bites but normally bigger fish. You want the pegs past the first set of steps ideally. -

TF_chaveyParticipantBe careful with the chopped worm, I fished the super league there last year and had a lot of pike problems. Afterwards I had a talk to Paul Downs of Starlets who won the section, and he put 21/2 pints of casters through the feeder with very little worms. As for groundbait.Crazy bait Gold and sensas Lake, works ok

Daddy BParticipantAndy L, whatever crumb you use needs to hold in the feeder for a 50 yard+ chuck off the dam wall (the water must be well up at the moment)and get down through 20+ foot of water in some pegs. It invariably blows a hooly as well, so you’ll want the option to add some weight to your feeder.

Anonymousi use brown crumb and sensas crazy gold and added fishmeal,i also take at least a kilo of worm plus at least two pints of caster and about a pint of maggot, dead maggot also works, its worth trying a grain of corn on the hook as a change,if your on the dam wall a long walk is normaly best ie the other side of the tower, and if your on the natural bank a 35 to 45 yard chuck should put you right, get your self some rocket feeders,so they sink a lot quicker,on that dam wall fish just past the ledge, but when you hit a fish lift your rod straight up so you lift the fish over the ledge.

AnonymousAndy L, Hi mate i fish bb quite a lot as its only 10 miles away also a member ,If your on the west bank thats the natural bank bit of a walk through the trees,
plenty of fishmeal in the groundbait with about 3 pints of caster in the mix not too much worm it will pull the perch in the peg ,use a large nisa feeder, and you need to chuck it 70-80 turns on the reel
the feeder will count 16 to drop
dont hit the rapid taps ,thats all your getting out of me as im on a league match in a couple of weeks -
