Nice solid box’s very strong and expensive…i wish i have that budget but there is a man who is selling one on another site, comes with all the xtras and a trolley, if you knock him down to 500 i think you have a bargain!

His number is on the Talk Angling Site

D36 ST with silver trays for that money mate , the 36 are very stable so are the 25 to be fair but 36 is the latest models . You will need a few extra trays and a good 60 mm drawer unit so there goes your £800 mate if you buy new . Fosters or Nathans have a good range in stock .

                Hope this helps

f you buy a d36 you can only use rive accessories if you buy the 25mm leg box you can use all the on box bits and save a fortune

I would try and get a d25 box, I’m 17 stone and it’s stable as they come even with the legs at full extension. If it can take my weight you’ll be easily ok.

I have a d25 st competition in black, but they are now over £500 and closer to £600.

I haven’t seen one, and not sure what the difference is with the st boxes, but RIVE are doing a d25 competition club box that’s £429 at rrp.

Go for a silver box, the trays are cheaper and also crop up more often on here and ebay. Expect to pay about 30-35 for a second hand winder tray though.

I would also go for fosters over nathans. While nathans of derby is the rive importer, he only sells things at full rpp whereas fosters, last time I looked, knock 10% off the rrp’s so you can save yourself money that way.

Get a D25 because of the add ons, because preston stuff is a lot cheaper than Rive, and yes Fosters is the cheapest Rive product seller out there.
