        Mine on a winter league at Ben Lee lakes came back with 3 pts so not the worst days fishing ive had, well done to Glen Turner winning it with 60lb today off an unfancied peg by many.

          stainy shop pairs match woodhouse grange kingfisher/ghost lakes.won with 69lb 13oz carp on corn over pellet off flyer peg9 (won match yesterday).peg was solid.(it had to be the way i fish for carp)~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh

            1st sat in a open at elton carp lakes with 84 pound 2nd today in my club match with 44 pound so a good weekends fishing.

                Fished a pairs league on Long Island, Hampton Springs today. Sat without a bite for more than half the match. Finally switched to popped up bread on the bomb after trying quite a few things and the tip went round. Ended up with 6 carp and a few roach for 36lb and 2nd in the match.

                  Fished White Acres in the individual league, silver fish round. It fished brilliantly! 67lb won at least four 50lbs plus weights. Think I came 8th with 45lb 13oz of mainly skimmers! Fantastic fishing. Looking forward to the Bait Tech festival.

                    I was coaching a couple of kids and their Dad yesterday in the pouring rain. They fished the training lake which is absolutely stuffed with small carp. It is the first time that I have used it since the big freeze. 2 hours fishing, 2 frozen and soaking boys and 2 fish – a roach and a rudd. I called it a day after 2 hours they were so cold. Buy what has happened to the carp? Cormorants or no feed and they are dormant? Time will tell I suppose.

                    I had a bit of a grueller today at Suffolk Water Park watching a mate catch 96lb 2 pegs away! I had 5 carp in 5 casts in the middle of the match when his peg slowed up but the fish were a little tightly shoaled!

                      I see Aron is still drawing well Richard , I will belaying a visit sometime soon to to the water park but not until they spread out , that’s just ridiculous .
