HELP! I’m looking for a new seat box. Must be small enough to fit in a Mondeo saloon without destroying the interior trim of the car (yes you YOZZA), big base unit for bait boxes, cattys, flask etc., two or maybe three front draws and one cross drawer that can be opened from either side. I’m currently using and old Danson Angling box with fibre glass base, wooden draw units on top and octoplus legs with footplate. It’s been superp but after 12 years it’s starting to get a bit wobbly. Any of you guys know of anything similar on the market? NOTE : Staff Bull – I don’t want one of your old ‘look at me, I must be good’ boxes with radio controlled draws and heated seat!

If I were you John I’d look for somethin with a reinforced frame that is as strong as scaffold.
              No thanks needed haha.

Boys, thanks for the replies (even from the gruesome twosome!) I quite fancy the matchobx. Anybody know if the cross drawer can be opened from either side or do you have to ask for it to be made specially?

                      Thanks

Have a look at the Fox MSB as well mate, The MSB1 is just as compact as the MatchBox and imho better. The MSB Euro which features the cassette type platform is a little bigger due to the frame but is reportedly more stable. That said I’ve never fallen of the MSB1 yet
