        RESULT
        1st John ADAMSON Kobra Feeders 95 lb
        2nd Wendell WARD Best Baits 93 lb 12 oz
        3rd John TALBOT Northampton 70 lb 4 oz
        Number of pegs: 16

        Report:
        Although there were fish all round Lake Two at Dynamite Makins for the Wednesday KOBRA Open, the high B numbers dominated and produced the toip three.

        On peg B17, Long Eaton’s John Adamson (Kobra Feeders) took top weight with a 35 carp catch weighing 95 lb, all taken on method feeder with most coming in the final 90 minutes.

        Best Baits ace Wendell Ward narrowly missed out on peg B21 with 93 lb 12 oz of carp and bream taken by alternating waggler and bomb with pellet bait. Northampton’s John Talbot (peg B25) caught his 70 lb 4 oz for third mainly on bomb and pellet (some on waggler) at close range.

        1st Baz SMITHSON Gedling Tackle 107 lb 8 oz
        2nd Ernie LOWBRIDGE Peterborough 97 lb 8 oz
        3rd Lee KENDALL Wade’s of Peterborough 87 lb 9 oz
        4th Kev ORR All Season’s Angling 67 lb 7 oz
        5th Wendell WARD Best Baits 64 lb 6 oz

        Report:
        The KOBRA Thursday Open, fished over Snake & Crater (Dynamite Makins) was dominated by Crater, which filled the top four places.

        Venue expert Baz Smithson took top honours with superb display from Crater peg 8, catching around 30 lb of stockies and skimmers, the remainder better carp (all on pole and pellet) for his 107-08 total weight.

        Peterborough pair Ernie Lowbridge (Crater peg 12) and Wade’s backed Lee Kendall (Crater peg 15) took the next two places with 97-08 and 87-09 respectively, All Season’s Angling’s Kev Orr (Crater peg 2) fourth with 67-07.

        Fifth, and top on Snake from peg 4 was Best Baits backed Wendell Ward with 64-06, Dave Kent (Long Eaton Victoria AS) taking sixth with 51-06 from Snake peg 15.
        Kobra Thursday match on 14th April will be on Thames & Inner Avon (Phase 3), 10am draw.
