“Magic Carp In The Margins” is a 1 hr 15 min film shot from the anglers perspective using a Contaur HD head cam. The setting is a beautiful lake in the New Forest known as “Bob’s lake” (part of the Hordle lake complex based in Hampshire.)

The lake holds common, mirror, leather, ghost and koi carp up to 32lbs. The average fish is about 11-12 lbs with plenty of doubles and a few twenties.

In an afternoons’ fishing, Carp angler Paul Greenacre, lands 10 doubles using a float fishing tactic that is refined over the period of the session. The session starts off a bit slow but as Paul adjusts his tactics the fish start to come thick and fast.

he then takes his 11 year old son Adam fishing the next day who lands a 20lber beating his personal best by 10lbs.
