across against the islands – feed very little and have a rig set up for the deck at 2ft and one at 10″. Banded white pellet on your shallow rig (you are after mugging fish).

Generally down the track and margins are what bait you are comfortable with. Either meat & hemp, corn, paste.

Just go easy on the feed.

            Snake 7 & 15 are fliers

i drew avon 3 in the subscriber match on wednesday. i had ten carp for 40lb. this was best weight on all outer avon , i got done for the section by the first peg on inner avon (over the bridge) who had 52lb.

didnt catch over to reeds , lost 1 here and missed a few bites , had liners so i reckon they were cruisers just shallow?

fed a pellet line down middle , it was fizzing but didnt catch.

fed 2 margin lines with meat/corn and had all my ten fish off here (4 small carp and 6 @ 4-6lb).

caught well in last 2 hrs with corn on hook.
lost 6 fish off here too , just hook pulls , dont think they were foulers?)

the right margin looked best but only had i fish , 9 from the bare left margin! but lad on peg 1(bridge) was chucking a method!! all over the peg which didnt help matters!
