        I have pleasure fished Mallory over winter instead of enduring winter league fishing. I have to say what a delight its been and I have already subscribed for the full season next year.
        Despite December and January being frozen up I have enjoyed every session I have had there with weights caught being circa 100lb every time.
        Most of my pegs have been on Uglies and Pretys as these are never matched up and enjoy a fair degree of shelter from prevailing winds.
        The company has also been good with many of the locals enjoying fishy conversations un pressured by match fishing.
        I know it looks expensive for the ticket but my bait bills have been next to nothing so I would urge any waverers thinking about joining to join.
        Along with White acres, which I fish 4 or 5 weeks a year, it must rank as one of the best managed fisheries around. Thanks Roy.

          joking apart it is one of the best fishery in the country,i don’t fish commercials yet i still love natural venues but on occasions i have fished the fishery and had my pants pull right down by the local 6 finger brigade ~sick ~sick i have always been welcomed by the lads
          top fishery

            Hi Joff, I have had the free bait already and still have it. Seriously I have used the Maruku stuff quite a bit and I am not sure it makes any difference. That said the fish very quickly change here, one minute its all corn, then bread, maggot etc.
            Last weekend for exapmple I was bitted out on maggot, the week before it was all carp on the maggot when I couldnt get a bite on anything else. They also seem to switch onto paste when I would not normally dream of using it in such cold, margins like wise.
            I think by pleasure fishing you can get away with much more than if you were in a match situation with most pegs fished.

                I joined as a member last year.

                As I am registered as disabled I get a reduction on my membership.

                Quite simply the best fishery in the country, well worth every penny.
