was going to get one after seeing a review in the mag last year. picked one up in the tackle shop and because of the weight never even opened the box to see what it was actually like~think

I like the box. Smaller than the wooden boxes and hold lots of hook lengths. I also like the measuring device on both sides.
Not sure weather it’s worth £25. But no need to buy more than one.

The Preston plastic ones take some beating and they weigh next to nothing. They also float if you knock them into the water off your side tray.

I’ve had mine for a month, and it’s great. Does not weigh anymore than a large wooden one.Holds more hooks than any other box, god knows how many preston ones you would need to carry. Also the other boxes cost more in the end.

I got one but I’m not sure I like the way the line is pushed into the slotted foam with nothing to attach the loop end to.
Think I prefer the Preston ones.

Not up to hype pre launch in my opinion. The lids do not close tight enough to prevent moisture enterin at the corners. The slotted foam does not hold tight enough to prevent pulling un needed hooklengths out and the pegs are to close and fiddly, and I have small fingers.

sorry if you dont agree but am going back to the wood/nail box.

I have the Milo box which in fairness is quite heavy but totally water tight and I have about 270 hook lengths in there and it could easily hold more. A top bit of kit IMHO.
