Im not a regular but have fished a fair number of times.
You are looking at Crucians, Skimmers and Tench. Tench normally needed to frame and these go up to 7-8lb altho stamp is 3-4lb. Pegs won’t be much deeper than 4 ft.
Looking at pole and method feeder.

Method feeder fished tight across (18-20 metres) and up to you what you fish through it as I don’t fish it there myself but is very effective. Groundbait or pellets on method and dead maggot probably safest.

Pole fished longish 11-13 metres and also at 5 sections. Plus some pegs will have nice edges – rushes, stick up or pads. The long pole tends to find the skimmers. Softened feed pellet probably safest (with expander 4 & 6mm’s on hook) or you can fish worm and caster, maggot as a change hookbait. Groundbait can work but go softly as this can cause alot of fizzing and not alot of proper bites! 5 sections will find the crucians and tench and odd skimmer. Worm and caster again or pellets, again maggot as a change hook bait. Corn could work but I have never had real success. If the tench show you should be prepared to give them some if you are fishing worm and caster. Fish the edges in the same way. The 5 section line can really dominate catches at this time of year and will probably be your main line. I would start long and work back to 5 secs and then edges.

Given your quarry I wouldnt fish above 0.14 on pole unless you are really struggling down an edge with pads. Go as light as you feel confident. As normal the crucians want delicate tackle. Ive had success with both double bulk and light droppers.

Otherwise enjoy your day as its a great fishery! Winning weights over the last 6 weeks have been 40-70lbs.

          cheers, jb
