Anyone tried the above range of groundbaits etc,any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated,do they really have any effects on catch rates above normal methods on commercial venues

Used the 301 stuff on Sunday and to be honest caught no more than the bloke next to me or elsewhere on the lake. That said it was rock after the ice age and I will give it another go. I was told not to mix it the night before or too soon before the match as it goes like polystyrene(spelling)Just mix what you need for your initial feed and a top up and mix more as you need it. It mixes really well though it looks as course as hell. There’s no magic baits but I’m sure this stuff well work better than others at certain venues it seems to be a matter of finding out which they are, but at £7 there’s not many who can afford to experiment too much. Now where’s my brown crumb and molasses?

I love it – Yes it is expensive but if it helps you to win more money then it pays for itself.

done a bit of paste fishing this last season and invested in the paste, swimstym beats it in the commies I fish I have given it a fair go and not compairing when the swimstym paste was not working Maybe I should have started with the mykru mouse paste first?

thanks for the comments,took a look at there website,looks pretty impressive but not sure iff its not just another gimmick to catch anglers,but thats just my thoughts

MM – I do a lot of paste fishing and prefer a paste based on Swimstim pelletts rather thanthe marukyu paastes but use the EFG301 quite a lot as a GB and have had some really good reults with it.

To clarify my comment was re the paste mix and its not fair to say the groundbait is poor as I will not spend any more on a bait which does not do it for me Earnest Stamford once said to me grind a pound note up and add it to your groundbait it will catch fish .

It’s like anything in life, if you don’t want to buy it then don’t. I hope nobody uses it cos I know I’ll catch more with it and the less people using it the better it will be for me. And I pay full price for it.

I don’t think anyone has ever claimed it was a magical bait.

what about the krill sfa 400,for maggots,can follow the swimstim approach for paste/groundbait etc as it seems to work in our commercials,guess looking for that extra edge,unless im just hopeless lol
