TF_Karpa9Hello Dave,
The Daiwa Spectron has gone, I’ve put sold in brackets next to it in earlier threads. But if you fish Drayton or the Avon, Trent and the Severn the Barbel rod would be a good addition especially when the river is in flood. At £40 quid its a bargain…….unused.

TF_dave smiffWhat test curve is it?
-
20/07/2011 at 6:01 pm #145749
TF_Karpa9Hello Dave the technical specification of the rod is as follows:
Fox Barbel ‘Duo’ 12 feet in length with a test curve of 2.75lb.
There are two tops, one for float fishing, bagging waggler perhaps, and the other for quiver tips of which are 4 with the following test curves:
4oz
5oz
6oz
7oz
It is in immaculate condition, no scratches on the rod blank and no stains on the cork. When a river has risen, as you probably know, you need a rod with backbone and one that will show the bites as it rages through. If you see it for yourself I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Thanks,
Karpa9
