TF_ollieDThere are 79 tickets unsold for the first match on Viaduct Fishery and the closing date for the sale of tickets is Sat 26th March. I taught there would be more interest in this competition.~think

TF_wildingukat 50 quid a ticket i’m not suprised they’re not selling, people don’t have the cash to go chasing a comp they have little or no chance of winning. Ain’t like the big boys won’t be all over this one with 100k on offer, so most will see it as 50 down the drain before they’ve even bought bait or thought about the petrol cost.

TF_geepsterParticipantI do hope that’s not the case. Problem is I guess if it’s perceived that it’s a match only the top 2% can win, then people might not give it a go. You are right to bring up the cost of fuel… that’s really hurting match fishing I think…

TF_SliderI have a ticket for the Viaduct match.

Petrol is killing everything for me at the moment, feel it’s only going to get worse too. After fueling the trip to work and back there’s not alot left any more so everything is taking a back seat. Just pray the cost goes down, or it will be summer hol in the back yard soon.

TF_NathanWatsonAnyone KNOW if tickets will be available on the day of the match if it hasn’t sold out??????????
-
24/03/2011 at 3:06 pm #136013
TF_hempseedShame tickets are so much, i think they should have had prize £50,000 max and £25,000 min and sold tickets half the price they are now, would have been sell out im sure. £50 is a big ask then pools on top etc, shame because everything else about the setup is spot on. ~think

TF_BacseyParticipantDoes anyone know the format for payout on the day section and overall? and does that come out of the £50 or is there an additional pool?
-
25/03/2011 at 8:05 am #136069
TF_BacseyParticipantIt would be good to know,Fisho you have to pay another £10 for a section payout so if included in the maver £50 would bring the cost a little bit closer.

TF_matt hainesto answer your question nathan ive taken this off the match this website
What’s the latest I can book a ticket for a qualifying event?
Tickets can be purchased up until one week before the date of the qualifying event. Tickets cannot be purchased after such time. Please also note that tickets cannot be purchased on the day. If you have not booked your ticket(s) in advance, you will not be able to fish on the day.

TF_yorkshirewas always going to be £50k than £100k in my opinion as chances of a sell out where always going to be testing to say the least…

TF_SliderI was told by the fishery this morning that they are pegging out a 54 peg match for Viaduct.
Cary, Cambpell and Lodge !!
A nice draw on Cambpeell will do me !

TF_NathanWatsonHow’s it fishing?
-
29/03/2011 at 1:42 pm #136362
TF_Stevie HIts fishing well from what I hear….
Over 200lb to win last weeks open, with 7 ton back ups.
I would also be happy with anywhere on Campbell…dependant on what pegs are in….or peg 85/86 on Cary would also be nice…
I won a Cary/Lodge open last year from Lodge with 131lb, but don’t see Lodge doing much with maybe more pegs being on it!!
Lucky draw fingers at the ready for Saturday.

TF_Stevie HI am travelling from Belgium for the weekend so in a sick kind of way, I’m glad it wasn’t a sell out as at least match lake isn’t in….There is no way you could qualify from any peg on there.
I may be proven different on the 9th, but I doubt it very much.
3 weekends in April travelling from Belgium to Viaduct may be a little excessive, but hopefully there will be some fish to be had 🙂

TF_BacseyParticipantIf i draw lodge and people around me dont fish thats fine, its won fisho and second came off it last year, thats how Ray Haywood won of spring last year because the next peg was emtpy when the guy didnt fish it.
