        Hi guys,

We have 2 club matches on here this year but both late in the year.

Any one fished them, methods, typical catches, baits etc

Might go and have a pleasure session this week whilst I am off unless anyone knows of any matches on there?

The first big weights came out last Wednesday 83lb won with 2 or 3 45/50lb’s

They will start showing in the next 2 or 3 weeks in most pegs !!

We have 2matches a month on there!

Fished it Thurs – bit peggy at the mo, to say the least.

2 pegs opposite the island are solid. A young lad had 70lb before 1pm then packed up. Someone else jumped in and started to catch after him!!

Rest of the lake seems hard with very odd carp to the feeder and a few silvers on the pole making up catches.

Roll on the warmer weather and watch the fish spread out a bit!!

Thanks for the advice though guys but not gonna rush back in the winter methinks!!
