        DATE: 4 NOVEMBER 2020
        1st Andy FINDLAY – Preston Innovations & Sonubaits 91-13
        2nd Dave HENRY – Leicester 42-02
        3rd Kev EAST – Makins 28-03
        4th Chris WAYTE – Coalville 27-08
        5th Steve CHADWICK – Army 16-15
        6th Brendan EVANS – Makins 16-13
Number of pegs: 10 Paid top three.

The first sharp frost of the Autumn and then a beautiful still and sunny day for the first half of the match, then a cool SW wind and cloud later made for reasonably pleasant conditions for this last match before the November Covid-19 Lockdown, which was a match of two halfs – everyone on the “A” bank catching carp, those on the “B” bank struggling.

Andy Findlay on peg A13 started on bomb and corn and had four early carp before sport slowed, but by changing to pole and pellet he kept fish coming steadily for the rest of the match for a weight on 91-13 and a clear win.

On A15, Dave Henry caught all of his second placed 42-02 carp catch on bomb and corn fished to the post, after failing to catch in other areas of his swim, Kev East (A11) catching his 28-03 on bomb and corn and feeder taking third place.

Chris Wayte was fourth from A20 with 27-08, followed by Steve Chadwick with an all skimmer catch of 16-15 (although he lost two late carp) from B14, and Brendan Evans’s lovely all roach catch of 16-13 taken on casters from B11, which included fish weighing over a pound.

Although everyone caught fish, the rest did not weigh in.

NB. ‘NISA Feeders’ Opens are at Makins Phase 1 every Wednesday. You must book in before 10pm the previous evening (Facebook – Nisa midweek open matches), draw in Lake 2 or Lake 4 car park (depending on lake being fished) 8:15am-8.30am, fishing 10:00am-3:00pm.
