TF_Johnny MacI wouldn’t hang about too long outside the Apollo, it’s not safe, ok when you’re inside though.
Drive down to town, park at the side of Victoria train station (£6 for 12hrs), walk across road to Printworks. They have places to eat, bars and a cinema.
Also, the Arndale is right next door. -

TF_DodgeTony , there are loads of attended safe car parks next to and opposite the M.E.N. Arena charging £3 -£5 for all day parking. Manchester City center is huge with masses of restaurants ,cafes, bars , pubs, shops , arndale center etc all within a short walk of the M.E.N. the printworks is well wort a visit also. Just one day isnt enough to take most of the city center in tbh it will be a real eye opener if its your first visit ! awesome city ! ….. enjoy ~clap ~clap

Victoria Station just round the corner, 5 min walk.

It is slow to get out can take up to half an hour if you are parked on one of the upper levels, its very tight as well when you are coming down. Seen them charge as much as £14 for some concerts.
