        REPORT

By Wednesday all of the pools were frozen over and all matches up to the weekend saw anglers breaking ice to fish. There were plenty of fish caught with Siblings B providing the best weight at the weekend with 70lb of F1s coming to pole fished pellet at 13 meters. Willow has been the most consistent pool during the freeze up with F1s and skimmers showing on most pegs with the odd bigger carp as bonus fish and pole fished punched bread or pellet has been the best approach. A few F1s were showing on Little Gearys but the ice was nearly 2” thick by Sunday and this obviously slowed sport down considerably. The forecast for the coming week is to be mild so we should see all of the pools clear if ice by around Tuesday.
