        REPORT

        Last week was one of the coldest weeks of the winter so far and most pools were frozen or partly frozen. A large amount of snow on top made conditions very hard and it was Sunday when the Fishery was fished properly for the winter league. The small pools, Willow, Siblings A and B provided good sport with F1s, ide and even the odd carp being caught and pole fished pinkies accounted for the better catches. The bottom end of Little Gearys saw a few F1s caught on peg 19 which came to pole and maggot. With a milder forecast, it will not take long to get back to the good fishing which was on offer before the cold snap.
