MOLANDS The early and late pegs have been best with 1-13 and 48-60 most consistent. Match weights to 158lb were caught including carp to 18lb ,f1s to 8lb and tench to 6lb. Pole with banded pellet at 14m or down the margins has been the top tactic with pellet feeder, method feeder, bomb with 6 or 8mm pellet and carp tactics with boilies all working well at times.
GEARYS The carp are showing on most areas including the shallower far side of the pool match with weights to over 100lbs including fish to 19lb . The bigger fish are coming down the margins and corn fished over micros has been the top tactic this week. Bomb with 8mm pellet and method feeder with wafter or boilies out as far as the middle stumps has also worked well. Decent nets of silvers showing along the high bank with catches to 40lb on pellet, worm or caster
LITTLE GEARYS Fished well early in the week with match and pleasure angler catching bags to 80lb + Maggot feeder, bomb with 6mm or bread pellet and pole with maggot/pellet have been the best tactics. Pegs 1-11 and 21-28 have been the better areas
ANNIVERSARIES There are still a large number of stockies in the top bays and those fishing on the pole with soft pellet or maggots have caught loads of fish from 8oz to 2lb. In the open water, a wafter or bomb with 6mm pellet has been working well for the F1s to 4lb and this is where the biggest catches are coming from with nets to 90lb this week.
GRATUITIES The carp have been showing better this week with nets to 50lb coming to bomb with wafter,6mm banded pellet or bread dobbed down the edges. Nice nets of silvers and small f1s coming to maggot or expander pellet fished on the pole down the middle of the pool.
WILLOW Very good this week with nets of carp and f!s to nearly 100lb coming out. Dobbing bread or corn along the margins has accounted for the better nets with long pole and pellet ,feeder to the island and waggler with pellet also catching
SIBLINGS A Fished hard for most of the week with the colour dropping a little . Maggot or expander pellet on the pole fished down the middle has been working best but also dobbing bread across to the far side.with carp to double figures and f1s from 1-4lb being the main target
SIBLINGS B Nets to around 70lb were caught this week mainly f1s upto 3lb with the odd better carp or f1. Pole fished maggot , expander pellet and banded hard 4mm pellet have been the better tactics but on the wider areas a small maggot or pellet feeder has also worked
