When adding horllicks to your micro pellets for the method feeder at what point do you add the horllicks to the micros?

I add enough water just to cover the micros in a shallow tray, leave it until they have absorbed the water it doesnt take long. Then sprinkle on some horlicks and give them a mix up to coat the pellets in horlicks. Thats the way Alan showed me. Other people might have other ways, Dont put too much water on them as they could end up as mush.

                What’s the idea behind this?

ACM – The idea behind adding Horlicks to the micros is to help them bind togther. They then stay (stick) to the method feeder. It is very effective.

I personally add the Horlicks to the dry micros in a bait container (a handful), put on the lid and give it a good shake, this puts horlicks on each pellet. Then add water and leave to soak into the pellets, just cover them. You will need to experiment with the amount of horlicks you need.

I just use the water out of a tin of corn, makes them sticky.
