What’s the best to use, was going to get some of the Ultima Flo Cast but then read a couple of negative reports.

PTB, I’ll take a look but why change from something that is spot on and super strong and resilliant, it will have to be a step change for me to move from Ultima, as yet I have not seen one, at the end of the day you need a line that will not crinkle when tying hooks allows shot to be slid with no damage, does not break on fish for no apparant reason and is very limp, there range of lines covers all my fishing.

I saw one of the matches at Manor Farm was won on the pellet wag at the weekend with a ton-up, which has to be a good sign…

PTB no seriously I am happy with what I use, linewise, I’ll take a look if I get a chance, as for the lea although I do still have an occasional look I doubt I will fish the canalised river again, I set out to get a 7lb + chub and did same with the ressy I set out to get my fair share of big bream and did, the drive to revisit has gone, however I am tempted to sort out a few of the big lea barbel have sorted all the gear just need to source a decent chair, looked at the korum lightweight but still undecided, after winning the national postal teams of four and the river colne champs I am tempted to stay fishing match style a little longer as theres life in the old dog yet, so they tell me!!!
