I used it through the winter on a pulla for roach and skimmers, very good, wouldn’t fancy hooking into a carp on it though

Been using it on Suez at Cudmore catching F1’s and small mirrors from 1lb to 3lb+
Good stuff, like all hydro’s plenty soft but powers up nicely.

Are you using it through a complete top kit? I tend to use the light hollow grades through just the top section and wondered if the pink was ok for silvers plus the odd carp on 0.10 or 0.12 if done this way.

                I use it through a 2+3.
For some reason, whenever Ive tried hydro through top 2 only, it seems to be too harsh?

If your fishing for silvers and odd carp on that line, then double slip 4 or 5 would be my first choice, used with a pulla.
Pink hydro might be ok? depends on how big the silvers are?

Silvers are 4 to 8 ounces, quite a few are perch.

Theres Not alot of difference between the blue and the pink in my opinion. probably ideal for skimmers and F’1 in the winter.

silvers of that size I would say dont spend £15 on pink hydro, cos it wont be right.

Double Slip 4 would be spot on and gives you every chance of getting carp out.

you need to ditch no.1’s completely even small stubs to get this to work properly as mp milo pointed out on mf-s, now totally sold on this for skimmers and silvers(except where very small fish on 1-2 solid), use with a pulla and you’ll get bigger carp out had an 8 and a half on skimmer line a month or so back in silvers match, lol.
much, much better than blue- once you remove the no.1 completely- now used in preference to mu former purple no.4 and no.3 solids.
