With the weather up and down at Ringstead Grange all this week, fishing has generally been Consistent throughout the week.
With the midweek stocking it has certainly livened things up.
A huge area of the weed has been removed from the lake and Pete the bailiff sends his regards to all the anglers for their patience and understanding whilst he has been relentlessly clearing on the weed lifter.
Best Catches goes to Top rod of the week Glen Wright (Kettering) catching 10 fish on an evening ticket all averaging around 2 half pounds a piece
Reg Belham (Northampton) caught 3 fish on a morning session all at 2 half lbs each. His remark was they all fought like champs.
Phil and Gene Robinson (Raunds) both enjoying 6 a piece up to 3 pounds a piece.

    Best areas:
Boats – willow tree along Addington Road, The deeps in the newly cleared water
Bank – Lodge front caravan and The deeps

    Best Flies:
Boats – Red diawl Bach’s, Black beetles and blobs
Bank – Pitsford pea, floating daddy’s, red buzzer and cruncher
