          sorry i cant help you
but the whole point of having a rive is that you pay
over the top for it !!!

Thanks all i no Rives are not cheap and i could probale afford one in about 2 months time but its all the stacer unints that you have to buy — i had the first space station when it came out and had it for 5 years super box its just falling appart – then i brought the maver mx 3500 thats live a rive but far from it and its like sitting on a wooden floor . im just looking for a box thats going to last me up to 6 years like the preston did and i think the rive is for me so if anyone has one pleses sell it me i cart stand this maver/rive wanna be lol

              thanks for all the comments

I own a rive, and take it from an owner that I would get a fox msb instead then buy your trays for your stack on top. I always find myself taking some stack trays to a match on top of the ones I have attached to the frame.

The fox box is lighter, more comfy, and takes up less space. Is always very well made, and you can get it with the 25mm round, or square, legs.

Rive boxes are comfy, the heel seat you get used to then don’t notice it. The heel helps support your back too. They are super dooper stable, and make a great fishing station. The problem, though, is they are just soooo heavy and take up sooo much room.

                  second wildinguk
i have a rive and think they are way overpriced
                  especially the new ones
stability is so so as i have never fell off any box
                  and dont intend to
if i was buying now i would have a fox box
                  fox = the new rive
and they are from great britain (ish)

Another vote for the Fox MSB. I’ve had Rive’s in the past and they are good but just too big and bulky, i had to sell my ST when i changed cars as it wouldn’t fit in the boot. Since then i’ve had a Matchbox(p/x for st)but just couldn’t get comfy with it and not enough drawers, Milo – comfy as hell but again really heavy and box would slip down legs as day went on, Brilo – nice box, not very comfy and top heavy making it tip forward when lifting it, terminal tackle everywhere. I now have a Fox MSB Euro 1 and its spot on. Totally customisable to suit your needs, comfy, sturdy, not too heavy to carry and is well made with a few nice ideas that just make it that bit better than the competition. I have removed the deep base and replaced it with a 60mm tray below the frame(can also go above) then the 60mm tackle drawer, 3 winder drawers, then the 30mm tackle drawer, Perfect for me. The spirit levels are brilliant and the box stays where it is on the legs. Just my opinion but i think it is probably the best box on the market for the price, the new D36 Rives are very nice but i went to Nathans and priced up what i wanted and it came to £1400, i got the Fox with the same layout and side tray etc for £600. Bargain.

I’m jumping on the MSB bandwagon as well.
                      Sold my Rive & don’t regret it,the MSB Euro 1 is almost perfect.Comfortable,stable & i can carry it if i really need to.Top Box~clap ~clap

Thanks for all your suggestions and it seems like you against the rive i know they am big and heavy but on moden day commercials you can park next to your peg — i had alot of boxed since i started fishing and sine im only 15 and been fishing for 11 years and to get to the stage that i am at in club and matchfishing even picking up a sponsership ive got throgh lots of stuff and i carnt find the right box and the rive i think is the best i like the concept of the stacker system and all the units you can add on

but they are just so expencive to buy new so thats why i am buying second hand so once again if any one has one please get in touch pm me thankx
