First production model of our new rive seat is now available,featuring triple varnished ply base and the same for under the foam pads.
We have used closed cell foam,which repels water,which is very firm,not quite as hard as the pole heel type though~naughty.
A recess has been cut into one side underneath the base,enabling the vinyl to be fixed into it,this means the edge of the vinyl sits flush,so your drawer and it’s contents cannot snag on opening.
Rive get around this problem by placing washers inbetween the base and the track that fixes the seat to the frame,causing a gap at one end that lets in water~hand.
Vinyl used is a very thick,hard wearing leather look type.
Underneath the vinyl in the pole channel,foam has been fitted to protect the pole.
Price is £75 including postage.
The seat pictured is for a box with a right hand opening drawer,we can however make them for left hand drawers.
Flat seats without pole channel are also available at the same price.
Seats can also be made to your own specification,i.e. coloured piping,textured vinyl etc.
