A cracking match result for this last Sunday evening with the night’s drawing in. Top of the class was student Will Evans again, fishing the pole with pellet short and down the margins he put 174lb15oz of carp – 8lb on the scales finishing with a fish to spare over Nigel fishing the same method at peg 19 who weighed 169lb 8oz.

Nigel rocked the match record today with his 274lb 12oz catch being just two fish short, fishing the pole with banded 6mm hard pellet on two lines on the top two + 2 taking a fish from each line he landed carp – 7lb finishing with nearly 60lb to spare over Pete at the next peg, he had a late run of carp – 9lb fishing the pole and maggot down the margin in his 216lb 9oz catch.
