Winning yesterday’s club match on the Holmedale lake from peg 14 made Julian hungry for some more, drawn opposite 14 on peg 45 he fished the pole and paste out at 7m and corn in the margin landing 111lb 9oz of carp – 8lb. Sheffield’s Dave Wild was the only other angler to break the ton fishing the pole and pellet at peg 9 he put 104lb 15oz of carp on the scales.

A late run of margin fish saw Pete come from nowhere to the top of the list, fishing the pole and corn down both margins he landed carp – 8lb for a total of 64lb 7oz.
