        With all the pegs in on the road side it was going to be a little harder than normal, but the best anglers shone through, Geoff fished the pole at 14m at peg 47,with caster and worm for a net of silvers made up of skimmers, roach and ide – 12oz. 2nd placed Dave fished his usual pole and caster for 13lb 12oz of roach – 1lb

        A very tight match, Roy took top spot thanks to some big perch up to a pound an a half.

        A second hard frost made it very hard at the start of the match, the winner Pete fished for roach on the wagler and maggot for the first half of the match and the pole and corn for the 2nd half, landing 10lb of roach – 12oz and 6 carp – 6lb for his total of 24lb 1oz. 2nd placed Alan fished the pole with caster and corn for a mixed net of carp – 7lb and roach – 12oz but finished one roach short with 23lb 14oz.
