Silver fish matches Hemmington Carp Lake

I’ve got another couple of silver fish matches on the carp lake at Hemmington on the 5th and 12th of March.

float only, no Carp or F1’s, but on these there’ll be no bloodworm/joker either. ( not that you need it)

Draw 9am, fish 10-15 till 3-30. £20 all in

It’s still fishing ok, bites on every peg, some quality fish too. ( just like carping~think !!!!!!)
We haven’t had matches for the last couple of wednesdays, but 25lb was caught for a magazine feature last wednesday and I was 3rd on an anything goes match last sunday with 18lb of quality Roach and perch in horrible conditions.

Let me know if anyone fancys it.

Also I’m going to do a league next winter. 10 matches, 5 saturdays in Oct/ Nov and 5 from Feb onwards. Already had quite a bit of interest. I don’t think I’ll have bloodworm in, like I said not convinced you need it.
Probably drop worst 2 results, but details to be finalised.

M8 can u get in touch with me with the dates ov anymore matches why no b/w and joker in the winter league are ur rycroft regulars to tight to buy or carnt use it.It should be alowed especially in those winter months it will help to get bites in those cold months there would be alot more lads that i know that would be interested

To be honest, I agree with what you say about about the bloodworm,
well, when it’s not frozen over, I think just joker helps, you tend to get bitted out on the bloodworm, but yes, it does help in the most adverse conditions

I’ve had a think and am leaning towards allowing it. It isn’t expensive after all, whatever people say and I don’t like bait bans.

I’m going to allow it on the next 2 matches in March.
Personally, I’ll just but a fivers worth ( 1/4 kilo)of joker which will last me the 2 matches
