Suffolk Water Park Open match – M1 – 6/3/11

15 people fished on a cold and breezy day. The average temperature for the day was only 4 C with the easterly wind gusting to 21 KPH. Overnight low of 2 C and a max of 7.2C. We had high pressure of 1032. There was also a 20 peg A Times club knockout match on the other bank and in the trees with Tendering Tanglers the home team. Unfortunately they lost. That did not help the fishing much although to be fair their match was won with 30lb odd down the edge on caster and there were a few 20lb weights to back that up.

1st Martin Oachwell, Hinderclay, Suffolk with 4 carp for 20lb 4oz
2nd Tim Dabrowa, Fox Match Stanjay, Cambridge, with 2 carp and a tench on popped up bread and a straight lead for 13lb 12oz
3rd Rodney Mills, Suffolk Water Park, Suffolk, with 2 carp and a tench for 12lb 12oz
4th Ian Garner, Haverhill, Suffolk, 12lb 10oz
5th Nathan Gooderham, Woodbridge AC, Suffolk, 12lb 4oz
6th Peter Dade, Harleston & District AC, Suffolk, 12lb 0oz
7th Nigel Knights, Norfolk, 9lb 12oz
8th Brett Calver, Tackle Up, F’stowe, Suffolk, 8lb 3oz

There is an open match, Wednesday and Sunday with a silvers only match on Saturday.
