not for 2 years – a few weeks back – 200lb won it – biscuit dapped on top on pole. you can catch well on shallow big pellet – paste close in works as does the method. To win you need to be on the first bank you come too 1/4 of the way down to 3/4 . I doubt whether much has changed in 2 yaers but at that time big hard baits were required to stop the small carp 1 to 2 ounzes jobs. Sorry for the lack of info but thats all I know

Biscuit dapped on the top! sounds a bit mickey mouse,how do you do that?

not a method I like but pole with 12 inches or so of line with a poly ball some six inches from hook as a sight bobbin hair rig the biscuit so that the biscuit is touching the surface but the hook isnt if the hook or line is touching the surface you dont get so many takes as you get this way – even with carp as daft as they are at this venue

Fished hard,my mate beat the bloke to his left by 130lb,with 173lb, a pb by nearly 80lb
