I was at the oaks today( peg62 cedar), and a tornado went through my peg! It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen! It was flat calm one minute, then for 20 seconds all hell broke loose! It formed about 10 metres to my left, went through my swim about 6 metres away from me, went to my right, up the hill and over! Did anyone else see it??? It broke the fella on 63’s pole!!! Absolutely incredible!!! Someone in the 70’s may have seen it as it went over the island???? Wow!!!!
There was a lot of scum on the surface of my peg and it left a trail through it!!!

On a hot day about 10yrs ago i was on a 4acre tree lined lake in Newbury, Berks when a small water spout started (about 20ft high). The spout lasted about 30 seconds and seem to come from no where. Stunning nature isn’t it !

            Ghosts !

I have seen a water spout and not just on a kettle, it was at Gosfield Lake near Halstead in Essex. It was formed by a ‘mini’ tornado which I understand are relatively common in the UK at certain times of the year. Nice to see one though as long as it doesn’t get your pole 🙁

Driving up through north West Australia during the hottest part of the day I saw up to 10 ‘willy willy’s’ in the bush around the car. According to Wikepedia ‘Willy-willy is a type of harmless Australian tornado. The term is sometimes used to refer to a whirlwind or dust devil.’
