        Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery To March 28th, 2011

        RESULTS FOR OPEN CONTESTS WEEK ENDING 27th MARCH 2011

        Lots of big weights this week with 200lb+ winning the match on Thursday and 4 x 135lb weights in the match on Wednesday. Red maggot up/down in the water and pellet slop with pellet have been the best baits. Corn in the margins has been going well for bigger fish.

        Top Pool
        All pegs have carp, roach, perch and bream with the odd chub being caught on 8-10m line with pellet or maggot.

        Bottom Pool
        Corn or bread in the margins for big common and mirror carp. Pellet for f1 carp and bream. Maggot for all other silverfish.

        House Pool
        Pellet at 6-8m with slop has been catching well on the bottom. Dead maggot against the island straight lead for common and mirror carp.

        Extension pool
        Red maggot up in the water has produced big weights this week fished at 8m. Pleasure anglers have been catching 100lb+ on warm days.

        New Pool
        Pellet has been the best bait on this pool at 4-10m with lots of chub, carp, bream, roach, tench and perch being caught.

        Canal Pool
        Maggot has been catching everything in the pool up in the water including bream, roach, rudd and f1 & f2 carp. Maggot in the margins for tench and barbel.

        Club Pool
        Pellet fished against the island for f1 & f2 carp, commons and mirror carp. Maggot has been working well for all silverfish.

        Jenny’s Pool
        Maggot and pellet up in the water has been catching f1 & f2 carp, bream and roach. Maggot for barbel, perch and tench at 4-14m.
