Preston UK Champs dates are now confirmed.(all Wednesdays)
The top 40 from last year have already qualified, the bottom 40 and any other entrants must qualify. (a few places left)

80 anglers 20 from each to quilify.
Qualifier 1 Barston 4th May
Qualifier 2 Barston 25th May

80 anglers
Round 1 Lindholme 8th June
Round 2 Colemans Cottage 13th July
Round 3 Woodlands View 17th August
Round 4 Barston 14th September

I hope its going to be televised again Nigel,and if so is it possible to have 60 minute programmes this year. Cheers

Yes, it is sponsored by Preston again, and will be televised again.
It was £6,000 to be televised last year, for 4 x 30 minutes programmes. It took a lot of work and organisation to get it off the ground, it will be the same again this year, 30 minute programs.

I spoke to Neil at Lindholme today though, and he is looking to get a helicopter in this year, so that will give us some great shots of the fishery.

Nigel didn’t dave harrell use a aerial company to take high photo’s of the evesham weekend last year could be cheaper i’m sure they can film from them as well

I don’t know, i just emailed him about something else just 30 seconds ago too!
I have seen remote control helicopters with cameras on, and i have also seen extending poles that go really high, i will look into it Joff.

Yes Lewis, i have you on my list, i will let you know as soon as the entry’s are open, it will be a couple of weeks.
Entry will be £40 for a qualifier (you can only fish one) and the series will be £250.

Yes Keith.
I have a list of over 80 angler that have contacted me over the last few months.
I will have entry details ready in a couple of weeks.

I like running matches, but hate collecting money, so we have done a new payment system.
(Thanks to Dave Knightley, Mick Wilkinson and Darren Wilson today)

I have the payment system ready, but the link from paypal to the UK Champs wont work with out me giving Paypal a debit card for the account, and i have had to apply for one, and they told me a 10 days wait!

As soon as its done, i will let every one know the entry details, last years bottom 40 will have first choice of qualifier, and the list will have next choice. (you may only fish one or the other).
