water still frozen

  just been for a walk to a local water near me and its still frozen solid, but the thing what amazed me was the amount of crap what had been thrown in, by what looks like kids. there was god knows how many tree branches and bottles but there was even a car battery .

  Where you been down Newmillerdam ? Theres 3 ft of water in there and 2ft of litter !

  no kettlethorpe hall mate . am just wondering if the club will clean it up or just leave it to fester away after all it is 30 quid for the year…….admitidly its not the clubs fault

  Suffolk Water Park still frozen solid. There is water over the ice and the swans are walking on it up to their knees.

  Could do with some wind to mix the layers up which should help it thaw. calm and foggy in Leeds….

  Thames is now virtually clear of ice but full of snow melt, on Sunday it frozen all way across in Oxford, but the canal has 5″ of ice except in a couple of bridge holes where its clear. All lakes are still solid.
  Might go and fish one of the clear swims on the canal tomorrow~clap
