TF_budnuddParticipantJust wait til you come to Elland Road, your lads won’t know what’s hit em!
Should be a cracker, at least the football league ain’t given you a 15 point head start this season so should be a fair fight for the auto positions!

Yep fair fight bud,& you will be looking up to to us again, the auto teams were both on view today, think you will win the play offs though, watch out for leicester they could run you close.

I’d take that mate, its about time we put the playoff nightmare to bed once and for all! We played in the first ever play off final and lost! That run has continued since!
Watford in the final? Sweet revenge!! Fingers crossed

actually,that’s very true. Good point.
Putting a realistic viewpoint on things,( ie, with an unbiassed outlook )Derby fans will have given up as under the current regime of disgraceful management and a lack of understanding by the owners of what is required to produce a successful team there is no point in offering any arguments in Derby’s favour.( as there aren’t any)
Very poor team, poor players who could never improve as they aren’t capable. A manager who won’t challenge the owners regarding spending. ( I don’t like Billy Davies as he only looks after No 1, but, he is a good manager and he wouldn’t stand for Derby’s owners lack of foresight)As Forest, Leeds( and even man City ) will testify, fortunes change in football, bragging rights rarely last for ever.
having seen the highlights of the game today, The Forest player deserved to get sent off. Have to agree with the commentator’s take on the Forest player. ” silly boy”
Warnock had a point, schoolboy defending for Forest’s equaliser and a very lucky deflection. No real threat otherwise, but credit to Forest for surviving with 10 men.
In my humble opinion, Leicester are the best team in the league at the moment and will take some stopping for the 2nd automatic play off slot, I think QPR will be the other.Leeds, Forest, Swansea and Cardiff for the play offs. Couldn’t call the outcome, they are all capable of beating each other on their day.
Forest would probably be favourites on current form, but don’t score enough goals and can’t rely on their defence indefinitely.
Got a sneaking feeling for Leeds, but if Leicester end up in the play offs I wouldn’t want to play them. Erikson has made a difference and they do have players with experience at a higher level.(as an aside, the Rooney goal. 10 a penny them. 4th goal in the 1970 world cup final still the best goal ever)

TF_bremesParticipantAndy,Forest will have to lose around 4 games in the last 17 games for leicester to be above them,or a turnaround of 10points,our goal diff is +16,leic +1,we have lost only 4 all season, leic have lost 11.As for the form team??,Forest were going for a 7th straight league win against Qpr & are unbeaten since november, leic still have to visit the city ground where we are unbeaten in 16months or 34 games. As for the sending off, agree, yes Raddy deserved to go,but we still caused Qpr all sorts of problems even with 10men,Colin would say that(posed no threat lol),he never gives credit to the opposition~naughty.Anyway its your opinion mate, lets see who is right ~clap.

TF_Craftytaftymathematically ( I’m not saying they will) Leicester could be above Forest by next midweek as they are 5 points behind.
17 games is a long time. 17 games ago I think Leicester were bottom and they haven’t lost at home since September.( and in that time they have scored only 9 goals less than Forest have all season).I think it is a very tough ask for leicester and it would be disrespectful to the other teams in the mix to discount them also, but none of the teams there can afford even a small slip up, Forest included cos it isn’t a foregone conclusion.
Just seen an interview with Billy Davies. Getting his excuses in saying people should listen ( i presume he means his board) as Forest are going to suffer with suspensions, injuries and fatigue and he must sign players if they are to succeed. To be honest I wish Clough was like that and wasn’t such a yes man.
Time will tell if he’s learn’t cos we were in a strong position looking good for automatic and the same as Forest now we struggled to put teams away ( apart from us LOL)and nearly blew it. Actually Forest are almost a carbon copy of Derby under Davies as we beat teams by odd goals in low scoring games, but that must be his style.
At the end of the day I’d rather just draw a good peg in a winter carp match lol, bl**dy fishing bingo~clap ~clap
