        has anyone been fishing anywhere lately and how has it been and how did you do

          Fished xmas eve at chequer tree,just outside of ashford.Chris had aerator on(peg 8),keeping about 14/16 pegs clear of ice.Fished peg 6 throwing a little method feeder to the island.Fantastic days sport with the skimmers,never had a carp but who cares in winter.Just happpy to wet a line and catch a few after the last 3weeks.
