# Tek-Neek Trabucco Tunnel Barn Farm, Shrewley Common, Warwickshire

Pete Rice, along with Graham, run the on-site tackle shop (tel: 01926 842188) and Pete’s record at bagging fish on this fantastic venue is incredible… so listen-up, even though his match record has been broken with a weight of 205lb! In general, maggot will start to come into its own, bloodworm & joker will be useful should heavy frosts suddenly hit town, or corn for the better stamp of carp, but anglers can expect F1s, Golden orfe, Crucians, roach and perch to be willing customers. Even though carp will be on the munch on House Pool 1 (34 pegs), one tin of sweetcorn will be enough to keep carp between 3lb and 7lb interested and occupied, so don’t overfeed. Fish tight to the island on pole or use Method feeder on the wider pegs (12 to 16, 29 & 30). Canal Pool (24 pegs) is new to the village, and with well-spaced pegs and suitability for disabled anglers, this pool has already proved to be immensely popular. Fish pole at 8/10 metres at the bottom of the far shelf, using maggot or corn (or a combination of both), aiming to catch mirrors and commons from 6oz to 1lb-plus, along with chub that go from 8oz to 1lb. Day tickets are £7 (that includes the use of a keepnet) with concessions £5 during the week and breakfast is served at weekends. Don’t forget to have your card stamped as after every five visits to Tunnel Barn Farm the next trip is free. Contact fishery owner Mike Hamlington for club bookings only on 01926 842975. All pellet feed must be TNTBF own brand.
