FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS carp to 24lb,f1s to 8lb ,tench and bream to 6lb all featured in catches this week with nets to over 100lb in matches. Pegs 1-12 and 41-60 have shown the most consistent form with the bulk of the fish following the wind.. Pellet Waggler or bomb fished upto the island or long pole with 4 or 6mm banded hard pellets have still been the best approach.

GEARYS Catches were a little down on last week but nets to 75lb were coming from most parts of the pool with carp to over 20lb featuring in nets and coming to the bomb and PVA bag ,waggler and 8mm pellet, method feeder with wafters or pole with 6mm banded hard pellet. Nice nets of skimmers coming from all around the pool with maggot over groundbait working best for nets to 40lb.

LITTLE GEARYS Fishing much better with f1s showing on most pegs and some cracking carp to 20lb also starting to wake up with nets to over 100lb. Pole fished maggot either long, short or down the margins has been the top tactic with bomb with 6mm pellet /wafter, maggot feeder or a small method feeder also worth a go.

SIBLINGS A Fished much better this week with nets to 75lb in matches at the weekend with the milder conditions getting the fish moving. Dobbing bread or corn across to the island or down the edges, long pole with hard or expander pellet and short pole with maggot or pellet have been the top tactics.

SIBLINGS B Like all the pools there was an improvement in the fishing this week with nets to 50lb with carp and f1s showing on most pegs with pole pellet/maggot fished down the middle or corn/dead maggot fished over micros across to the far bank working best.

ANNIES Has been producing nets to over 40lb and f1s and small carp are coming bomb with 6mm pellet and wafters,or a small method/hybrid feeder with the pegs at the top end of the pool from 1-10 and 20-23 are still in the best form.

WILLOW Always popular with the pleasure anglers ,catches to 70lb were reported last week with carp to 16lb+ and f1s to 6lb providing the main action. Waggler, bomb or a method feeder to the island or long pole with corn, baned pellet or maggot have been the best tactics.
